Do something different and lead teams of young volunteers on our last development projects in Malaysian Borneo. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivating Project Managers to join our Expeditions for 8 or 13 weeks this summer.

Our programmes focus on providing safe access to water, protecting vulnerable environments and building more resilient communities, all whilst developing the skills and confidence of young people. To safely and effectively run our expeditions we rely on volunteer managers.

Borneo Project dates:

  • 18 June – 10 August
  • 18 June – 14 September

As a Project Manager you will;

  • Support a group of around 12-14 young volunteers on community, environment and adventure projects
  • Facilitate the personal development of the young volunteers
  • Encourage and motivate the young volunteers to effectively deliver the aims of the project
  • Inspire the volunteers to complete an impactful project

We ask all our volunteers to fundraise before the expedition. The summer fundraising targets for volunteer managers are £2,200. This is an unpaid voluntary position however when you are in country we will cover;

  • All living expenses included during the expedition - food, accommodation, equipment
  • Full training and support before and during the expedition
  • Travel and medical insurance included
  • In country transport
