What we're looking for

Here at Conwy, school groups book onto Sessions in which they learn all about and are inspired by the beautiful and amazing wildlife on the reserve. As a Learning Support Volunteer you are part of our team helping to support staff and the Volunteer Learning Assistants as they lead the Sessions. You will help us inspire children and their accompanying adults, assisting with the games and lessons and supporting children as we go.

What's in it for you?

You will be part of a vibrant team of staff and volunteers at RSPB Conwy. As an active and exciting conservation charity (the largest in Europe), the RSPB is committed to nature conservation and we can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work. You will have an active role in enthusing the next generation about the outdoors and wildlife, enabling them to make their own connections with the world around them. The days are full of fun and learning for the children and adults. As a volunteer you will continually learn and be supported within your role. We run training and social get-togethers throughout the year.
