Do you have an eye for detail and a love for organising? We need someone with good computer skills to help us maintain our volunteering records as well as communicating with groups of volunteers and helping us to plan and prepare for events throughout the year. We will also have a brand new website that will be live from the beginning of May. The way we advertise our opportunities will be changing, hopefully offering a more user friendly experience for prospective volunteers. We’d like you to help us manage our webpages and keep them looking fresh and up to date. By volunteering one day (or half a day) a week at our Potteric Carr office in South Yorkshire you will be improving the volunteering experience of hundreds of volunteers across the whole county, and helping to create a Yorkshire rich in wildlife too!

As part of this role you will be updating information on the volunteering pages of our website and replying to general volunteering enquiries sent by members of the public and current volunteers. There will also be a range of other admin tasks to help us maintain records for volunteers and volunteering activities throughout the year. You’ll do all of this as part of the friendly Volunteering Development Team which is split between Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s Potteric Carr and York offices.

So if you have a passion for record keeping and an interest in finding out the behinds the scenes workings of a volunteer organisation email volunteering@ywt.org.uk for more information!
