Do you have an interest in photographs and want to gain or build on your admin experience?

The Woodland Trust is improving our media library. We currently have thousands of images on our library and keyword searches often result in too many images for users to scroll through. Many images are out-dated, not on brand or too similar to each other; making searches time consuming and frustrating for all users.

We primarily need volunteers to identify our most suitable images to keep for each search category and those that are surplus to requirements, to help streamline image searches for all staff users of our media library.

From the overarching keyword of “Penn Wood” to the more specific species of tree “Silver Birch”, to the details of each tree “Ash Bud” and from the general “Tree Diseases” to the specific “Ash Dieback”. These are just a sample of searches for images to communicate our message by WT staff each day.

You will be working with the Media Library Manager within our busy Design Team, but the role may require you to liaise with teams across the Trust.

This role offers you the opportunity to make an improvement that will be felt across the whole of the Trust.
