Spurn National Nature Reserve has many features that draw visitors from all over including; wildlife, heritage and history. Spurn has had many different uses by humans over the years and you can see the rich history of the landscape right before your eyes across the whole reserve, not to mention the abundance of wildlife; wading birds on the salt marshes, kestrels hunting, rare migrants popping in a welcome respite, deer and even a seal if you’re lucky! As there are so many interesting features on this site that is 3 miles in length, we need volunteers to help engage with visitors at our Info Hut, our new Discovery Centre and at specific points on the site at high tides and to help keep people safe.

You'll be part of a team of volunteers who help to make Spurn a fantastic place to visit, you'll like spending time talking to people and helping them to have an inspiring day. Full training and induction to the role will be given, you'll just need to bring lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to make each visitors trip to Spurn a memorable one!
