Are you great with children? Do you love the outdoors? We are seeking Education Assistants to help deliver the Trust's educational work. Sessions include all sorts of fun activities for kids to get stuck into and our assistants have as much fun as the children!

Responsibility Areas and Key Activities:

  • Ensure visiting groups receive a high quality welcome.
  • Assisting with the preparations for the groups including setting up rooms or outdoor learning and preparing materials.
  • Assist in planning the education activities as required.
  • To support the Education Officer with the running of events and the supervision of children.

The role is supported by funding that will allow us to provide in depth mentoring and support to our education volunteers as well as providing first aid training. Absolutely no wildlife knowledge is required but enthusiasm is essential, all volunteering will help contribute to our on the ground conservation work. You will receive training, logo uniform, travel expenses and the chance to work with a friendly and professional team of volunteers and staff.

Please note this role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
