Our livestock play a huge part in looking after our nature reserves. Their grazing is essential in providing places for our wildlife to live. All our livestock need checking every day to ensure they are healthy, safe and happy.

Full training on how to behave around livestock and what to look out for will be provided. 

Although this advert is specifically aimed for applicants from Dover, we are always looking for volunteers to check our livestock in other areas of the county. Please look at our website for more information. 

No previous experience required

  • You should be happy to work outdoors in all weathers
  • Willing to work alone
  • A high level of commitment due to animal welfare implications
  • You must own a smart phone
  • You must be over 18 to apply for this role.
