Do you care about wildlife and want to do something to make a difference?

Would you like to share your passion for the environment with others?

We are looking for Volunteer Conservation Leaders to join our friendly and supportive team. You will spend your time teaching people about the environment and trying your hand at a variety of practical conservation skills, such as tree planting and management, species and habitat surveys and marine conservation activities. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with funding applications and planning new projects. You will gain excellent work experience that will be valued by employers and develop a range of transferable skills.

What we are looking for in a Volunteer Conservation Leader:

A passion for the environment and excellent communication skills are essential, as is an ability to connect with others. You should have the time to commit to leading one conservation event per month and attend our monthly committee meetings. You must also have held a clean driving licence for at least two years and be willing to take joint responsibility for driving our minibus. Experience in managing groups outdoors and working with volunteers is beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.

If you have a passion for the environment and want to share it with others we would love to hear from you.
