As a seasonal ecologist with Harmil Environmental Limited, you will be expected to carry out field surveys to assist in data collection for a variety of our projects.

Harmil Environmental Limited is a multi-disciplinary company covering a number of different sectors that has been operating for the past 8 years. As part of our ecology team, we employ a number of staff over the peak survey season which can run from April through to October. The successful candidates will work within the highly regarded ecology branch, also trading as Elite Ecology.
Our main focus is to efficiently complete projects for our clients, whilst ensuring the protection and enhancement of the natural world during the planning process and within private projects.

We will provide comprehensive one-to-one training of standard survey techniques following the relevant good practice guidelines and will assist the successful candidate in working towards a continuous learning and development (CLAD) plan to help develop their knowledge and skills. This is a requirement of CIEEM and will hopefully be used to inform potential future roles within the company.
We will also provide training for report writing skills to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met.
