Would you like to be at the forefront of climate change resilience within the East Riding of Yorkshire?

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team supporting the development and delivery of the innovative East Riding Coastal Transition Accelerator Programme to support vulnerable communities to plan for, and respond to, the impacts of coastal change.

You will:

  • act as coastal champion
  • work with internal colleagues, partners and communities to develop a new, long-term approach to coastal transition within East Riding of Yorkshire
  • actively support communities to deliver on-the-ground adaptation.

We seek an individual who can think innovatively, forge excellent relationships with a range of people and organisations and deliver an ambitious programme of work on time. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject and have an in-depth understanding of coastal change issues and adaptive approaches to coastal management. Project management, policy/strategy development and partnership working experience is essential.

Based at County Hall, Beverley for 37 hours per week as part of a full-time, permanent contract.
