Celtic Harmony is an award-winning education charity, providing hands-on cultural heritage education of ancient Britain. We aim to increase understanding of the natural world and create a more sustainable way of life for future generations.

We are looking for new keen outdoor educator to lead and assist with activities on our innovative education program for school groups and visitors at Celtic Harmony Camp, Prehistory settlement, near Hertford.

We provide experiential learning through a range of hands-on activities from Woodland Quests to Pottery as Neolithic Hunter Gatherers or Iron Age Warriors on various Prehistory Day & Residential School Trips and Family Days Out and Overnight Stays.

The ideal candidate will have

  • A minimum of 1-2 years working in outdoor education or similar
  • Interest in history, prehistory and teaching to children
  • Good team player
  • Own car

Remuneration

Full-time (40 hours a week) from £20,000 - £22,000 pa gross per annum pro rata, on a monthly rota including weekends.

Remuneration dependent on experience with the opportunity to progress onto an Education Officer.
