About our organisation
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That's because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.
We campaign for change, support farming innovation, serve healthy food in communities, support and grow the organic market, and protect forests. We couldn't do this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it's needed the most.
About the opportunity
The Food For Life Get Togethers (FFLGT) programme supports and enables the connection of communities through food, and we are looking for a Communications Manager to join our team. We coordinate a varied and exciting communications plan through the programme's fourth year. The FFLGT programme has been hugely successful, and this role will continue to engage community organisers in the range of key events and network activities that have been pivotal to its success whilst also disseminating the learnings that have come out of the programme to a range of key stakeholders in its final year to ensure the legacy of the programme and its participants its lived long beyond the end of the current programme.
You are an outstanding communicator who can support and enable communities to come together
through food, sharing knowledge, ideas & access to resources, and growing and strengthening
their connections. You have experience in maximising the impact of programme outputs through
delivering clear communications that share the learnings and legacy of the programme with key
stakeholders and partners.
We offer a range of financial and lifestyle benefits to all our employees, including:
37.5 hours per week
Bristol with hybrid working (2 days per week working from the office)
