The team is recruiting a London Urban Forest Plan coordinator following a successful funding bid to the Defra Trees Call to Action Fund (TCAF). In addition to funding this role, the grant is funding eight projects led by LUFP partners to deliver tree planting, woodland management and community engagement projects across London over three years.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery, monitoring and updating of the London Urban Forest Plan, working closely with key stakeholders in the London Urban Forest Partnership. They will also provide co-ordination for the TCAF project, organising regular project meetings with delivery partners, reporting on project progress and outcomes, and evaluating the programme.

The role sits in the Green Infrastructure team and your work will contribute to making London’s public realm greener, improving access to, and enhancing green spaces, increasing the capital’s resilience to the impacts of climate change and safeguarding and enhancing biodiversity.

We are looking for an individual who is familiar with the tree and woodland sector and has excellent project and programme management experience.
