Grade: Field Ecologist / Surveyor (several roles available)
Due to the ongoing success and expansion of the business, Aspect Ecology has a number of exciting opportunities for recently graduated / post graduate candidates to start their career in ecological consultancy, by joining our industry leading team of specialists and working on our exciting range of challenging and interesting projects. Previous experience of conducting surveys for protected species is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Having a CSCS card is also desirable but not crucial.

About the role
You would be a Field Ecologist, working under the direction of the Field Work Co-ordination and Ecology team, undertaking a range of field surveys and site supervision works for faunal species, including bats, reptiles and great crested newts, with potential to work with other protected species including Dormouse and Badger. You will be required to work up to five days per week, with opportunities for weekend work as well.
We are particularly interested in applicants based in the South-East (Kent, Sussex), Norfolk and Suffolk where much of our current survey work is located. Depending on project work we may also be looking to take on applicants from elsewhere within England and Wales, so would also welcome interest from other locations.

Wages are paid at an hourly rate (commensurate with your experience). B&B / hotel accommodation will be provided, where required, and all business mileage / subsistence will be reimbursed on a monthly basis.
