We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead and develop a team that delivers across three key Scottish Government programmes. The Technical and Outreach Manager leads a team providing specialist advice in person covering domestic renewables, help for landlords and affordable warmth services which are critical to the current energy crisis. This role is at the heart of helping Scotland to achieve its net zero goals through supporting domestic householders and landlords to take action and install renewable technology and energy efficiency measures across South East Scotland.

Over the last year, the Technical and Outreach Manager supported the team to save householders 116,034 tons of lifetime CO2 and £791,378 in annual fuel bills for fuel poor householders.

The successful applicant will join a motivated, skilled team with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer journey which starts with our advice team right through to an in-home visit and will identify suitable measures and potential funding on a tailored basis. You will be required to complete the City and Guilds Domestic Energy Assessor training and lead on the roll out of the SQA Home Energy Scotland Renewables training to all advisory staff.

You will inspire, empower and coach specialist staff to achieve challenging targets that support customers to take action, while developing projects that reach new customers and manage the overall demand for the team.

In return, we will provide the successful candidate with City and Guilds Domestic Energy Assessor certification, Historic Environment Scotland solid wall training and PAS2035 Retrofit Assessor training.
