About us
Parity Projects is a small, award-winning company. Our mission is to provide the most cost-effective route to Net Zero for the UK’s homes. We are passionate and enthusiastic about the subject. We take an impartial and independent approach by using data and analysis based approaches to inform action and as such have developed a market leading reputation for what we do.
The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior member of staff with an interest in analytical approaches to problems to assist our energy analysis team. The work mostly consists of assisting the small analysis team in processing and modelling large amounts of housing data to explore energy saving retrofit opportunities for our clients, who are typically housing associations and local authorities. There will also be normal administrative office duties such as answering our online chat and completing forms (e.g. feedback forms, invoices).
We would consider both full time and part time candidates. Initially, the contract will be for 4 months, which can be worked with reasonable flexibility to suit the candidate. There may also be an opportunity to extend afterwards. Whilst we do have an office based in Southwest London, most employees choose to work remotely from their home. This arrangement works well for us, and our staff regularly have meet-ups online and in person. The preferred working location and times can be discussed at the point of interview.
The person
The role would suit someone with interests in environmental, scientific, or technical subjects with a good A-level (or equivalent) in Maths and/or Physics. Good proficiency in MS Excel is essential, and exposure to Python, R and SQL would also be beneficial.
