Are you a recent graduate looking for a role responding to the climate emergency? Joining our graduate scheme you could soon be playing an important role at the heart of our operations whilst getting a great grounding to develop your career.

About the role

Changeworks is launching a new graduate scheme to draw fresh talent into the organisation as we enter a key growth phase. Our ambitious three-year strategy will see opportunities created across several of our teams, including energy advice, consultancy and project management, as well as our support teams such as digital & marketing communications. By completing our graduate scheme, you will be well placed to move into a role in one of these areas or another within the sector.

We are offering a fixed term, two-year programme where you will have the opportunity to work in different teams undertaking a wide range of activities that will give training, qualifications and experience to help you further your career with Changeworks or beyond. We are looking for recent graduates searching for their first professional opportunity. We offer flexible working and welcome part-time applications.

About you

We are keen to recruit people who share our values of passion, integrity, innovation, empowerment and collaboration to deliver our mission to decarbonise Scotland’s homes.

The scheme is ideal for recent graduates looking for their first professional role and who are passionate about addressing the climate emergency.

We welcome applications from any discipline. Any additional experience, gained for example from working with people in a customer setting, giving advice or encouraging others to act, leading a project, undertaking office administration, working with other organisations or groups, will be advantageous.

We are looking for people with an enthusiastic and positive approach and with an ability to work with minimal supervision. You will be a good communicator, have strong listening skills and have a problem-solving attitude, flexible outlook and the ability to adapt. A fantastic bonus would be if you had existing knowledge about housing issues, sustainable energy, or an understanding of fuel poverty issues.
