Location: Remote First - principally home based with some travel within the Strathclyde & Central area
Salary: £25,214 + excellent benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexible working)

The opportunity
Home Energy Scotland is an exciting initiative funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust. In Strathclyde and Central Scotland, the advice centre services are delivered by the Wise Group working on a remote first basis. Our team offer expert advice to individuals, communities and organisations in areas such as energy saving, renewable energy, sustainable transport and water efficiency. The work we do contributes towards the Scottish Government’s aims of alleviating fuel poverty and tackling climate change.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Home Energy Scotland team as an Advice Team Leader who will support the continued success of the centre and who will be responsible for delivering on targets and for the provision of a world class service.
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced people manager with well-developed communication skills who will lead a team of remote based advisers to deliver the Home Energy Scotland telephone and digital advice service. You will be thoroughly organised, and it will be your responsibility to ensure that demanding targets are met, and the highest quality standards are maintained.
Ideally, you will have a background in and leadership experience within a contact centre environment. A passion for carbon reduction, energy efficiency and fuel poverty alleviation would also be desirable.
Our ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and a creative thinker able to enthuse and lead a team whilst delivering on targets.
