Chavereys is a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants based in the South of England, servicing clients nationwide. We specialise in the areas of rural business, landed estates, property, renewable energy and private client matters.

Since 2020 we have broadened our service offering to include carbon accounting and net-zero consultancy, and plan to expand into natural capital. Our client base is varied and includes vineyards, solar parks, fruit growers and farmers as well as many others.

Salary Range
£24,000 – £26,000

We are offering a unique trainee Chartered Accountant position, with specialisation in carbon and natural capital, at our South of England office in Faversham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and committed graduate who is seeking to undertake the ACA qualification and balance this with developing expertise in the emerging net-zero and natural capital agenda. As an accountants Chavereys see the opportunity to better link financial and sustainability data to support their clients, and this role will be at the heart of this new initiative.

Studying for your ACA qualification requires both the skills mentioned above and a level of academic competence. We look for candidates who have achieved the following:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree
  • 300 UCAS points
  • Demonstrable interest in sustainability issues
