Environmental Consultant (Quantitative Assessment – Noise and Air)

EnviroCentre Limited is now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Environmental Consultant to join our friendly team who has a natural ability to undertake quantitative assessments, preferably in environmental noise assessment, air quality and dispersion modelling.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding team delivering on key regional and national projects and to further develop a variety of skills and build a successful career within the environmental consultancy sector.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Providing support to the delivery of air quality assessments
• Developing skills in areas such as environmental licencing, carbon assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• Other opportunities will be available to work with other teams in the business, covering aspects such as ecology, hydrology and contaminated land
• Opportunity to undertake field and site work.

Role Requirements

• A relevant undergraduate degree
• A member, or working towards membership of, a professional body
• Ability to write high quality, thorough and structured reports
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve
• An understanding and up to date knowledge of environmental legislation and policy trends
• UK Drivers Licence
• Be self-motivated and bring a positive attitude to the workplace.

It would also be an advantage, to hold a postgraduate degree.
