Risk & Policy Analysts Limited (RPA) is an employee-owned independent consultancy providing evaluation, impact assessment and regulatory guidance to the private and public sector.

We provide multi-disciplinary, innovative, expert advice and have a fantastic track record of successful outcomes for our clients, environment and society. The work we do places us directly at the centre of the UK and European legislative processes, providing us with an opportunity to help ensure public and private sector entities achieve their sustainability goals.

We are proud that over the past 30 years, we have pushed the boundaries across a range of different fields where we combine our sectoral knowledge of chemicals, environment and society with economics knowledge and other social research tools.

We are currently looking for people with relevant experience to join our experienced team and support us in maintaining our high standards for our existing and growing client base.

We operate an agile working policy allowing flexible working hours and location meaning each employee can manage how often and when they are in the office. We believe this helps our co-owners to have a good work life balance. When you want to be in the office, you can be based in our head office in central Norwich or our hubs in London or the South West.


  • Demonstrable skills in applied economic analysis, such as the valuation of environmental or human health impacts, economic modelling techniques, econometrics, and statistical analysis
  • Experience of successfully translating economic theory and modelling to a variety of projects in various sectors
  • Excellent desk-based analytical research skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English


  • Experience of policy analysis via a consultancy, government, think thanks, NGOs or private sector
  • Understanding of sources of national and international government and business statistics
  • Relevant educational background
  • Proficiency in another language would be advantageous

Salary and benefits

We operate a transparent pay policy and for experienced hires offer from £27,500 to £60,000+ (based on experience). We offer 38 days holiday. After 6 months you will gain equity in the business via the Employee-Owned Trust which brings tax free profit share and a voice in the future of the company. We offer 5% contributary pension and Accidental death cover.
