Student Engagement Coordinator
Cambridge Zero, West Cambridge

This is an exciting opportunity to have a substantial impact on students' engagement on climate and environmental issues at the University of Cambridge, utilising the full range of the University of Cambridge's academic resources.

In this role you will coordinate the delivery of Cambridge Zero's internal student engagement programme, by working with students, staff and external partners to deliver programmes that can ensure that all students at the University of Cambridge have access to the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve a zero-carbon world. These programmes will encompass education, supporting existing student societies, voluntary programmes and skills placements.

To perform this role effectively you will have experience of programme development and delivery whilst liaising and working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent interpersonal and collaborative capabilities, as well as great organisational skills.

Cambridge Zero (CZ) is an ambitious new initiative of the University focused on supporting the global transformation to a zero-carbon world. The Initiative's research and educational programmes will be highly multidisciplinary in nature and will seamlessly integrate scientific, technological and humanities/social research themes. Building on the existing strengths of Cambridge, the overarching objective of the Initiative is to provide an unambiguously world-leading research, teaching and engagement programme that delivers impact both to UK and international policies and the technologies that will be essential to deliver a zero-carbon future.

Contract is open ended with limited funding for 2 years until permanent funding is confirmed.
