Sustainability Consultant / Retrofit Assessor

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to carry out retrofit assessments and home energy surveys. We are a rapidly growing building suitability company based in Bristol. We provide Retrofit assessments under the PAS2035 scheme but also have developed our own in depth home energy survey.

We will also consider applications from experienced sustainability consultants and retrofit professionals for a more senior role.  

Main Responsibilities:

• Retrofit assessments and Home Energy Surveys
• Domestic Energy Assessments
• Report writing and reviewing
• Domestic energy modelling using SAP / RdSAP
• Thermal imaging surveys
• Air Tightness Testing
• Travel is required (mainly within 2hrs of Bristol but occasionally further afield.)

Education and Experience Required:

• Experience caring out retrofit assessments or RdSAP / SAP assessments is desirable
• A minimum of 3 A-levels (Grade C or above) or a relevant technical qualification
• A degree in a related field would be desirable
• An interest in sustainability and energy efficiency in the built environment
• Highly organised and motivated individual
• Computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel

A full driving licence is required as site visits will be required. Company vehicles are provided for surveys, therefore access to your own vehicle is not essential.

Job Type: Full-time (we will consider part time applicants)
Salary: Competitive based on experience.
