The Company
Hope for the Future is a climate change charity, training communities, groups and individuals
to work with politicians on climate change. Our vision is to see politicians of all political
persuasions joining together with each other and with communities across the UK to take
decisive action on climate change.
We are a small but fast-growing charity, operating nationally at a grassroots level, linking
constituents with their MPs, running training and holding events.
Hope for the Future now has regional offices in London and Liverpool and is looking to open a
third regional office in Scotland in 2022. We have several funders who are backing our vision,
methods and ambition and are helping us to grow at pace.
We are seeking a Communications Co-ordinator to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract until
11th August 2023, working 35 hours a week on a full-time basis.

The Role
As a Communications Co-ordinator, you will produce and disseminate digital and print content
that illuminates our unique contribution to the climate movement with potential supporters,
clients and funders.
Leading a small team, you will develop and manage an external communications strategy that
focuses on audiences that we aim to support with our training and resources.
You will seek to increase our online presence, developing our website, newsletter and social
media content.

About You
To be considered a Communications Co-ordinator, you will need:
Ideally, you will have experience of social media advertising. Design, video editing and
photography skills would also be beneficial. Up to date knowledge of working with G Drive and G
Suite would be equally advantageous.
