About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a technical problem solver and trouble shooter to join our IT & Systems department in a key role providing technical support based at our Bristol site.
You will resolve technical issues related to software and hardware problems in desktops, laptops, and the network.
You will be responsible for building and configuring laptops and mobile devices.
You will work closely with the IT support manager and the rest of the IT team to ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
Using your ability to communicate, you will respond to incoming requests via phone, e-mail or face-to-face and resolve them within an agreed timeframe.
About you
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role and will relish this opportunity to work with the team in supporting colleagues across the Sustrans hub in resolving IT issues.
You should have a good understanding of Windows 10, Office 365, and basic understanding of technical terminologies, networking technologies such as TCP/IP, Active Directory and associated Internet technologies.
You must have excellent communication and analytic skills to prioritise and work efficiently.
