WWT is embarking on an ambitious new ten-year strategy. By 2030 we want to have put wildlife into recovery by creating more space for nature with more people on nature’s side. The new post of Nature Reserves Manager will play a critical role in ensuring our existing nature reserves are effectively and efficiently managed across Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull. Taking responsibility for all operational aspects of our nature reserves and reserves team, you will ensure our sites are in a good condition for wildlife and welcoming, safe and engaging places for people too. Making the best use of the resources we have to do that, this role will innovate, lead and develop positive opportunities on reserves for volunteers, strengthen our work with stakeholders and implement evidence based management plans to achieve our work. Further to this, the postholder will assist in the development of our new strategic land acquisition and habitat creation, ensuring the team grows and adapts as our land portfolio does.
