Maydencroft are looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Receivable Assistant to work at our office, based on the outskirts of Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller in a team of 4, you will administer the Accounts Receivable function, to include:

  • Raising sales invoices and maintaining client records in Sage
  • Assisting with the process to ensure invoicing is complete and accurate
  • Allocation of receipts and other credits
  • Dealing with Accounts Receivable queries (both client and internal)
  • Credit control for 60+ client accounts

This role also requires:

  • Adhoc support for the Financial Controller and other team members, as required

We are looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to look at the bigger picture, previous experience of SAGE software, an aptitude for credit control, a great communicator with the ability to work with a dispersed management team.


  • Minimum 3 years Accounts Receivable experience, including credit control
  • Sage experience
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Full, clean driving licence


Due to the company location, applicants must be a car driver and have access to transport.

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
