Celtic Harmony is an award-winning education charity, providing hands-on cultural heritage education of ancient Britain. We aim to increase understanding of the natural world and create a more sustainable way of life for future generations.

We are looking for a new keen outdoor educator to assist with a range of tasks including leading activities on our innovative education program, maintaining facilities, welcoming family visitors and serving in our cafe at Celtic Harmony Camp, Outdoor Prehistory settlement, near Hertford.

We provide experiential learning through a range of hands-on activities from Archery to Quests on various Prehistory Day & Residential School Trips and Family Days Out and Overnight Stays.

The ideal candidate will have

  • some experience / interest in outdoor education or hospitality
  • interest in history, prehistory and teaching to children
  • good team player
  • own car

Remuneration

Full-time (40 hours a week) at £19,760 gross per annum pro rata, on a monthly rota including weekends.

Remuneration dependent on experience with the opportunity to progress onto a Junior Education Officer and then an Education Officer at £22,000 gross per annum.
