Senior Fundraising Officer – Trusts & Foundations (G7)
Salary range: £30,000 - £33,000 (FTE) per annum depending on experience
Modern agricultural practices are a key driver for widespread biodiversity loss. According to the State of Nature Report 2019, since 1970 there has been a 41% decrease in wildlife abundance, a 54% decline in farmland birds and 97% wildflower meadows and species rich grassland have been lost in the last century. In 2018 10% of the EU’s total greenhouse gas emissions were linked to agriculture. With 70% of our countryside being farmland, the way in which it is managed has never been more critical.
The Organic Research Centre (ORC) is the UK’s leading independent research charity focusing on the development and promotion of sustainable, agroecological solutions to food, farming and environmental issues.
