We are looking for an Ecologist to join our team in Planning and Building Control.
The successful candidate will work across our Planning and Public Realm teams and will be someone who shares our values, commitment and motivation to make a real difference for our districts.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our teams working across different areas of the Council and with our communities who are passionate about protecting, improving and making a real difference to their environment.
You will take responsibility for:
You will carry out site visits, produce briefs for assessments, studies and mitigation works necessitated by required planning conditions, and approve specifications for ecological work submitted by developers.

Working together across our Councils and with our partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors, we provide excellent services to our 190,000 residents across Babergh and Mid Suffolk.
