Job title: IT & Digital Transformation Officer

Full time – 35 hours per week

Permanent contract

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 depending on experience

Location: Beechcroft House, hybrid working between home and office with a need to travel to site offices when required

We are seeking a IT & Digital Transformation Officer to join our cause.

This permanent role involves:

  • Providing first point of call assistance to staff seeking help with both hardware (laptops, pcs, tablets and mobile) and software queries (predominantly Office 365)
  • Promoting the use of Office 365 tools
  • Overseeing the completion of the migration from on-premises servers to cloud
  • Working with the Facilities Manager and Exec Team to review the Microsoft Office 365 deployment to ensure it is fit for purpose going forward
  • To be the primary contact for our Managed Services Provider and escalate as required
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager in managing relationships with a wide range of suppliers, including of support services and software providers. Where appropriate this includes management of organisational and contractual KPI’s/SLA’s

Experience

  • Experience of providing support to end users
  • Proven work experience within an IT environment
  • Analytical and goal oriented

Knowledge

  • Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
  • IT qualification (Microsoft Office 365 would be advantageous)
  • Comfortable producing and delivering reports to senior management

Personal qualities

  • Able to communicate IT requirements in a way that staff of all technical abilities will understand
  • Supportive, team player who enjoys being part of a busy team
  • Interest in wildlife and conservation

Skills

  • Effective communication skills, orally and written
  • Comfortable writing reports, making presentations and providing training
  • Able to communicate IT requirements in a way that staff of all technical abilities will understand
