We are looking to appoint a confident, innovative and enthusiastic person to join our Wild City team, as a Community Wildlife Outreach Officer.

The main functions of this role are to:

  • Engage with landowners and their representatives and public bodies associated with the Newcastle Great Park development.
  • Provide proactive on site monitoring of biodiversity and landscaping development and management and identify any issues to be addressed.
  • Provide high quality wildlife and environmental education and engagement activities for the local communities.

The role is for 14 hours per week and the contract is for a 24 month period.
