Do you want to help create a wilder Hampshire and Isle of Wight?

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the invaluable support of volunteers and members we manage over 50 nature reserves. We also work with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county and inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live.

The role:

We are currently seeking a Supporter Care Administrator to join our busy fundraising and membership team. The main purpose of this role is to provide essential administrative, data, financial and supporter management for our small but ambitious team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with database administration and accurately recording and processing donations across a range of income streams
  • Carrying out administration for donations received into the trust including recording details onto the database, coding income for the finance team and sending out personalised and accurate thank you letters
  • Supporting with importing data from third party sites, including JustGiving and Facebook
  • Ensuring that all Gift Aid documentation is kept centrally and in good order
  • Assisting with fundraising enquiries from supporters and members of the public

The successful candidate will have experience of data input and using a database and / or CRM systems along with experience of administration. Experience of working within a charity would be advantageous but is not essential. A basic understanding of GDPR is a must and you’ll be a strong communicator both written and verbally.
