Are you interested in a hands on position where you will have the opportunity to work in beautiful surroundings 24/7?

Our Site Supervisor for Wales is accountable for the day-to-day operations primarily at Lake Vyrnwy and Llyn Clywedog for Hafren Dyfrdwy (HD), developing the visitor offering and delivering visitor growth.

In line with HD’s strategic aims and the Visitor Experience Team (VET) Business Plan the main objectives include delivering high quality recreation, access, conservation and education.

In this role you will be leading a small team of HD Rangers and volunteers to provide a wonderful experience for our visitors.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

The successful applicant will have a track record in customer focused roles, a significant amount of experience in a countryside and visitor environment with an understanding of conservation and environmental management.

As the role will involve leadership of rangers and volunteers and some management of contractors you will need good management, motivational and staff development skills.
