We are looking for someone to join our Estates team on a full time basis to assist with the ongoing management of Panshanger Park; a Humphrey Repton designed landscape set in the heart of Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities 

Estates Maintenance - Maintain the estates grounds including all public areas, car parks, grassed areas and hard landscaping by completing a range of tasks such as litter picking, grass mowing, path maintenance, hedge cutting and agricultural operations.

Habitat Management - Undertake a range of practical habitat management to ensure woodlands, wetlands and grasslands are maintained in a favourable condition.

Visitor Management - Engage with visitors to answer queries, patrol the park to ensure the parks code of conduct is adhered to.

Skills and Requirements 

We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in Ecology, Countryside Management or related subject.

Previous experience working with members of the public.

Practical habitat and estate management skills, including the use of associated tools and machinery.

Excellent communication and written skills and also to be proficient with Microsoft Office and all social media platforms.
