Senior Sustainability Consultant

As the UK’s first sustainability consultancy focused on the built environment, we have been advising on a wide range of residential and commercial projects throughout the UK for over 15 years. Our in-house Building Physics and Sustainability teams work collaboratively across over 40 different services for our varied and loyal client-base.

Our sustainability consultants deliver a wide range of services including BREEAM, WELL, PassivHaus, Whole Life Cycle Carbon & Cradle-to-Cradle Analysis, Materials Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Low & Zero Carbon Feasibility Reports, Home and Building User Guides, Home Quality Mark and LEED.

With exciting plans for growth, we’re relocating to the centre of Guildford and are looking to fill a number of positions.

 The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead our Sustainability Team, investing in each individual to help them fulfil their potential.
  • Manage using a coaching and collaborative style of management in which they will be trained.
  • Ensure the Sustainability Team continues to deliver the high quality of service SRE has become known for.
  • Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Provide clients with high-quality technical and strategic advice on a broad range of sustainability services.
  • Expand our client offering into new and exciting areas of sustainability.
  • Provide Fee Estimates for new and current clients.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Candidates will be expected to have:

  • Over 5 years’ experience of working within the built environment.
  • Over 2 years' management experience.
  • BREEAM qualifications and over 3 years' experience of delivering BREEAM Assessments.
  • A relevant degree.

The job will be full-time and will be based in our soon-to-open office in Guildford. Salary will be dependent on experience and ability.
