The Education Team at The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & N. Merseyside have been championing the Forest School movement in the North West since 2009. The Trust is committed to facilitating high quality Forest School programmes to a range of individuals and settings including nurseries, primary, secondary and specialist schools, home-education groups and adults.
The ideal candidate for the Forest School Project Officer will be an experienced forest school practitioner who is passionate about inspiring future forest school leaders, and committed to supporting them through their training journey. It is vital that the individual has excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. If you have a forest school qualification and experience of delivering adult training, we want to hear from you!
Flexibility with regards to the working hours will be required as this post will involve occasional weekend and evening working; however the normal working week will be Monday to Friday.
