The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established and experienced team where you will develop your arboriculture skills on a wide range of interesting projects for a variety of clients.

We specialise in the retention and incorporation of greener and more natural Green Infrastructure into residential development but also carry out consultancy services for all sectors including commercial, leisure, local government, and Infrastructure/ Utility projects.

The Role

You will provide support to the rapidly growing Arboriculture team at JBA and assist in the completion of surveys, report production and arboricultural inspections. In return JBA offer support and professional development to facilitate your career ambitions. This role would suit an enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable candidate looking for a consultancy career, but we would equally love to hear from individuals already within the industry and seeking a new challenge. The right person will have: 

• Minimum NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent in Arboriculture or Forestry
• A good understanding of planning law, pest and diseases, fungi, tree identification and visual tree assessment
• Highly competent with AutoCAD and GPS/GIS technology
• Experienced in BS5837 surveys and development related work
• Current full clean UK driving license
