Ecodesk is looking for a Programme Executive, home working, starting as soon as possible.

  • Fixed Contract: Full-Time - 6 months

About the Role:

The Programme Executive (PE) supports the Programme Manager (PM) in the successful implementation of clients’ programs. These are aimed at improving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance and/or reducing ESG risk in the value chain.

The main tasks include:

  • Pro-actively engaging suppliers by phone and email, encouraging them to share their key sustainability data with their clients.
  • To provide training & guidance for suppliers & supply chain partners as required.
  • To make and receive telephone calls to suppliers requiring assistance with using Ecodesk.
  • To provide sustainability data collection assistance to suppliers. For example, calculating Greenhouse Gas emissions.
  • To support Programme Managers with administrative and reporting tasks.

As a PE at Ecodesk you will also contribute to team objectives, gaining exposure to global supply chains, learning the intricacies of sustainability reporting and gaining in-depth knowledge of the various business cases of sustainability. 

About you: 

Are you a person that shares our passion, has a pro-active attitude, is a self-starter, has excellent verbal and written command of the English language, possesses good customer service skills and is eager to develop their knowledge of sustainability? If so then this is a role for you!

The ideal candidate holds, or is in the process of completing, an environmental/sustainability or related degree and has some prior work experience in customer service or information technology. You are technology savvy and have experience with the Microsoft Office package.

The selected applicant will receive sustainability training on the Ecodesk platform as part of our induction programme.

After submission the application is reviewed and if interest is established, an initial Zoom conversation will be held. We will then hold a further Zoom meeting for second round candidates.
