This is a great chance to get involved with an organisation and sector that is growing fast and join a dynamic team striving to improve the Wye and Usk and their catchments. We are at the forefront of practical environmental management and the development of new approaches. WUF are seeking 2 people to help us do this. 

The job will involve:

Collecting and analysing data to facilitate the development of natural capital markets in the Wye and Usk Catchments.

Mapping of data across the organization to realise opportunities for natural capital.

Working with the rest of the Natural capital team to devise, research, develop and manage scientific projects/auctions focused predominantly soil health, biodiversity, nutrient neutrality and natural flood management.

Working with data and monitoring department to analyse and interpret their results.

Working closely with other WUF departments, especially farm advisory, habitat team, marketing, PR/Comms, education and fundraising, providing expertise and advice to each to ensure their activities are blended with WUF's objective to develop natural capital.

Working closely with statutory authorities to identify areas of work and funding, ensuring WUF projects are synergistic with government priorities and initiatives.

We will consider applications from a range of backgrounds and different expertise.


  • A science degree in a related subject.
  • Mapping experience and knowledge of ARCGIS,
  • Own transport


  • Experience in the field
  • Understanding of natural capital
