This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual with ambitions of developing a career as an Engineer to join a truly collaborative team which designs and delivers high quality, innovative solutions for walking and cycling infrastructure.

Working together to achieve our strategic priority of Liveable Cities and Towns for Everyone, we are very proud of our portfolio of ground-breaking projects, working hand in hand with local communities reshaping their streets and alongside local authorities and other partners, unlocking the potential of the wider road network to encourage greater active travel. Underpinning all our work is a passion for sustainability and support for our vision of a society where the way we travel creates healthier places and happier lives for everyone.

We are looking for experience of infrastructure design and producing engineering drawings. An HND/degree level qualification in a related field, or previous experience, is required. In return we can help you to develop new skills and give you the freedom to express yourself creatively. We also encourage professional development with our industry-leading internal multi-disciplinary training opportunities and support towards attaining incorporated or chartered status, including ICE, IHE and CIHT. Ideally, you will bring your lived experience of disability or minority background to bear on our ambition for our streets to function for everyone. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of people who really enjoy working together and value the contribution and expertise each individual brings.

Please visit our website for further information and application details. Please quote reference number. Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am Monday 8 March 2021. Interviews will take place via MS Teams during the week commencing Monday 22 March 2021.
