Job Description:
As an energetic and highly organised Bid Administrator, your role is expected to support the Commercial function in growing the business. This role will begin with a few of the core tasks below, adding further elements as delivery of each initial task becomes more efficient. The role should become a real go to point in the business in terms of all things BD. Tasks are likely to build to include:

To succeed within this role, you will need to be highly organised, excel in multi-tasking and be able to work under high pressure on short bid deadlines. You will be a detail-orientated person, able to exercise extreme attention to detail with a can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in to any task that supports the growth of the business and your colleagues around you. As such, you will need to be a self-confident and outgoing individual with strong communication skills, who is able to build rapport quickly.
You will need the ability to learn the basics of what we do rapidly (from recycling to carbon mitigation, and marine plastic flows to socioeconomic modelling), as well as become an expert in our business development processes and systems. You will become the go to person on all things bid process and bid resources for the company, and will act as the right-hand person to the Head of Commercial/Business Development Assistant in analysing and reporting on sales performance and bid process compliance. This is an operational support role, focused on supporting our growth and so our ability to make a positive difference to the environment.

24 days per year (plus Bank Holidays) rising by 1 day each year to a maximum of 30 days per year.
