The Lincolnshire Rivers Trust is a small but ambitious charity, created in 2011. The Trust works with partners across the county to help protect and improve the rivers, waterways and wetlands of Lincolnshire. We are a small, friendly organisation with a real passion for the freshwater environment. 

Person Specification:

We are now looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate, who is looking to gain experience in the environmental sector. The project officer will assist with the delivery of projects including those which seek to: 

• Improve water quality and natural process within rivers 
• Raise awareness of issues relating to the health of rivers in the rivers and wetlands of Lincolnshire amongst stakeholders and the general public 
• Control non-native invasive species within the river corridor 
• Engage local communities and volunteers to become involved with local ‘on the ground’ initiatives which will help to improve and enhance their streams and rivers and promote learning and education about the river environment and its importance.
