We’re currently looking for a Conservation Officer to join our Conservation Department, supporting our Natural Environment Team, and play a key role in the management and conservation of Levisham Estate.

The Role
As Conservation Officer, you will support our Ecologist in helping assess the potential ecological impact of planning applications on the National Park, the day-to-day management of Levisham Estate and developing conservation volunteering activities.
Working closely with our Ecologist and Graduate Trainee, you will collect ecological and environmental data with the support of volunteers, process statutory planning applications and liaise with land managers on a range of existing conservation agreements.
Levisham Estate sits within the North York Moors National Park and comprises woodland, heathland and moorland. This beautiful area needs careful management to ensure that its wide variety of plants and animals can be maintained, grown and enhanced for the future.
