37.5 hours per week – Based in Edinburgh (Home based initially)

About the role

This is a key leadership role covering one of our three UK-wide HR Business Partner portfolios. Partnering with the National Directors of Scotland and Northern Ireland and their respective teams and reporting directly to the UK Executive Director of People & OD, this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark on the people agenda at Sustrans. You will be based in Edinburgh, with regular travel to Belfast and occasional travel to Bristol and other UK Sustrans offices.

About You

We are looking for someone who has an in-depth knowledge of contemporary people management and OD and wide ranging experience in strategic and operational HR roles, including extensive partnering. The successful candidate will have a track record of impact in the HR field and be able to show experience of coaching and upskilling managers as well as examples of delivering change initiatives. Leadership or involvement in organisation development is highly desirable. You will also have experience of driving inclusion and diversity initiatives. Effective communication, engagement and stakeholder management skills are key.
