The Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) works across many sectors to help all those whose work or volunteering brings them into contact with bats. BCT is recruiting a Bat Groups Officer to facilitate BCT’s relationships with bat groups; provide support to the Partner Group network; and promote effective communication between the local and national organisations.

Applicants should have experience of working in the wildlife sector with volunteers, managing programmes of work, and delivering training to a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will have a good level of knowledge of bat conservation, have delivered training, be highly efficient and self-motivated, with excellent communication, administration and prioritisation skills.

BCT’s main office is in Vauxhall, South London. This post requires travel, including across England, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. The position could be office or home based, subject to discussion with the successful candidate, but visits to London and other travel will be required on a regular basis.
