National Partnerships Manager, Scotland

£31,369 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in Edinburgh (negotiable)

The exciting challenges of this role including the building and maintenance of effective partnerships with national bodies who can help Sustrans to deliver the Scottish Government commitments on walking, cycling and wheeling. By identifying and developing new opportunities, you will develop new partnership relationships and approaches and lead a team to delivery shared outcomes.

With experience of delivering complex, multi-partner projects at a senior level and experience of successful and productive partnership working, you will be experienced in delivering to deadline and on budget and in effective networking. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to diplomatically communicate authoritatively and persuasively and the ability to develop innovative new projects. You will also have strong effective leadership skills. You will have good working knowledge of transport planning and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
