About Us

Ecolocation is the ecological arm of GBa&e, a wider multi-disciplinary practice providing ecological services, Arboricultural services, development consultancy and architecture. Our clients include agents for planning applications, Local Authorities, churches, commercial organisations, private individuals, etc. We are a small but friendly team with a distinct advantage that the majority of our work is in the Midlands and rarely requires any working away from home.

The role of Senior Ecologist

You will be part of a small team and will take the lead on medium- to large-sized projects, liaising effectively with clients, completing a range of ecological surveys and impact assessments. You will also provide support to junior members of staff. You will also be required to put together fee proposals for new projects, so commercial awareness is a must.

Primarily, we are looking for a candidate with experience of putting together fee proposals, who also holds a level 2 bat survey licence and has experience in bat mitigation licence applications.
