An exciting opportunity to join well-established and highly regarded sustainability and energy consultancy, SRE Ltd. We are looking for an experienced Financial Officer to oversee and manage the financial growth of the company over the next five years. This role includes working closely with the Directors and Senior Leadership Team to advise on all financial, accounting and budgetary management.

SRE provides independent sustainability and energy advice to developers, architects and contractors on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Our head office is based in attractive rural offices in Froxfield, Petersfield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all daily, weekly and monthly transactional requirements.
  • Driving the company’s financial planning.
  • Ensuring cash flow is appropriate for our operations.
  • Providing sound financial advice to Directors and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Agreeing and managing budget, income and expenditure and supporting forecasting and the provision of financial information.
  • Ensuring efficient processes around payroll, invoicing and payments to suppliers.
  • Working closely with Senior Leadership Team on financial strategy.
  • Preparing current year financial forecasts and 12 month rolling financial forecasts.

Candidates will require:

  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum 7 years’ experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a senior finance officer or relevant role.
  • Proficient in the use of SAGE, XERO and MS Office.

The job will be part-time, based in our office near Petersfield, Hampshire. Salary will be dependent on experience and ability.
