Role Purpose

The post holder will identify and develop intelligence and information utilising a variety of tactics to inform the enforcement priorities identified in the Annual Strategic Assessment of Environmental Crime and guide our enforcement approach to SMNR and delivering Wellbeing outcomes. Develop intelligence led enforcement culture within team and wider organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of key legislative regimes including PACE, CPIA1996 and its Code of Practice, RIPA 2000, GDPR, and POCA, Government Security Classifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with regulated business and the public and gaining support by influencing.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills to develop good working relationships between partner teams within NRW.
  • Comfortable and competent in dealing with challenging situations and individuals.
